Nature - A gift to Human

NATURE is quite a grand word, referring more or less to everything is generated or produced. In this Universe, “Everything is Natural” is about as informative as insisting that “Everything that is, exist”. It refers to living plants and animals, weather, geological process, and physics, such as matter and Energy. Nature is an integral part of mankind. It is one of the greatest blessings of human life.

Our forest, rivers, oceans, and soils provide us food we eat, the air we breathe, the water we irrigate our crops with, and medicines. We also rely on them for numerous other goods and services we depend on for our health, happiness, and prosperity.  Nature is very important to the economy – from farming and forestry to leisure and tourism.

Some benefits of Nature –

Breathing in nature gives us wholesome sensory awareness. When we spend time outdoors, we are more mindful of what we see, what we hear, what we smell, and what we feel.

It improves memory functions and reducing depression. If people are suffering from mild to major depressive disorders showed significant uplifting after exposure to nature. They also felt more motivated and energized to recover and get back to normalcy.

Natural settings such as parks, gardens provide spaces for people to do physical activities. Researchers reported that workers who were close to natural views had fewer illnesses and headaches. For people working in the office, indoor plants can improve the air quality of the office and improve the productivity in office environment.

Viewing Natural scenes it increases recovery rates in hospital patients. Patients in hospitals with access to view natural scenery show increased recovery rates. In a classic study performed in a suburban Pennsylvania hospital between 1972 and 1981, patients who had a window view of deciduous trees healed from surgery much faster than those who viewed a brick wall.

How Human activities destroy Nature –

Use of Vehicles – In today’s world everyone is using their personal vehicle hence we are relying on so much on fuels these days but we tend to forget that these vehicles emit a huge amount of harmful gases which slowly destroy our Nature. Gases include Hydrocarbons, Nitrogen oxides, etc.

Industrialization – In this competitive world, every country is growing. Our Job, business totally depends upon industrialization. We build huge factories which in turn affect our nature in many ways.

Deforestation - We exploit our forest for so many reasons like for creating our own space for infrastructure development or for the use in the timber industry etc. This also leads to the destruction of natural habitat of many wild animals and birds.

There are N number of activities done by humans for destroying Nature but one day Nature also strikes back. Nature comes with Earthquake, tsunamis, storms, floods, volcanic eruptions. These things are a majorly impacted on Human life.

Nature teaches us multiple things -

It can teach you how to think more clearly & scientifically, or enhance your sense of spiritual connection, or even achieve personal success.

Simply being surrounded by birds & plants has amazing beneficial effects on the mind & body. Nature teaches authenticity by giving you opportunities to be alone with yourself in a truly non-judgemental environment.

Nature teaches us that for everything there is a season and the right timing. Sometimes in our life, we want certain things to happen right now. It is hard to wait for the fruits of our actions and we expect results immediately.

Beauty in simplicity this is an important thing we receive from Nature. Everywhere around us, the beauty of nature sounds.

The natural cycle of our ecosystem is very necessary for the survival of organisms. We all must take care of all components that make or nature complete.

“One of the pathways to health may be to spend more time in natural things”
